How Clipyt AI Review finds strong YouTube moments
Clipyt AI Review scans a video's available captions and suggests short candidate ranges. It ranks those suggestions for hook, completeness, payoff, and standalone quality, then leaves the final trim and export decision with you.
What AI Review does
AI Review is a caption-based YouTube clip finder. After you load a video, it analyzes the available captioned transcript in windows, proposes moments that can stand on their own, and returns a short ranked list. The suggestions are starting points for an editor, not finished claims about what will go viral.
Each candidate can be opened in the clip editor, where you can adjust the start and end, choose captions, sound, quality, and format, then export the range. This keeps the useful speed of AI suggestions while preserving human control over the final cut.
How the suggestions are ranked
The ranking looks for a clear opening, a complete thought, a meaningful payoff, emotional or informational signal, and enough context to understand the moment by itself. It also considers pacing and keeps candidates within the product's short-clip limit. The result is a practical shortlist rather than a guarantee of audience performance.
Because the analysis depends on captions, transcript quality matters. Missing, late, or inaccurate captions can hide a strong visual moment or make a good spoken moment look incomplete. For a precise visual edit, use the manual range controls to make the final boundary match the footage.
AI Review analyzes up to the deployment's configured review duration, capped at one hour by the service, and returns at most five final suggestions. A long video can therefore be represented by a review window rather than every frame in the source.
Use the right input
AI Review works best on a public YouTube video with a usable caption track, clear speech, and enough context around the topic. Interviews, explainers, podcasts, tutorials, and commentary are natural fits because their strongest moments are often expressed in the transcript. Highly visual footage, music, or videos with unavailable captions are better handled with manual timestamps.
The tool does not bypass private, age-restricted, members-only, region-blocked, or removed media. You also need permission to download and reuse the source. AI assistance does not change the copyright or platform rules that apply to the video you are working with.
Review before you export
Open a suggested moment and check the first spoken word, the final sentence, and the surrounding visual action. Add a little lead-in when the hook starts mid-sentence, and leave a short tail when the payoff needs room. Then choose whether to keep sound, burn in the available captions, and export MP4 or MOV.
Guest and Google-account plans include one AI Review try; Pro includes a monthly AI Review allowance shown in the app. Limits can change with the deployment, so the quota shown beside the AI Review control is the current source of truth. Guest clip allowances use a browser session and network-derived quota key, so people sharing a network can share the guest allowance.
Common questions
Does AI Review guarantee a viral clip?
No. It ranks captioned candidate moments for useful editorial signals; audience performance depends on the source, context, platform, and how you edit and publish it.
Does AI Review need captions?
Yes. It relies on the video's available caption track. If captions are missing or poor, use Clipyt's manual start and end controls.
Can I edit an AI suggestion before downloading?
Yes. Open the suggestion in the clip editor, adjust the timestamps, choose captions, sound, quality, and format, then export it.
